Old Barn Restoration

Location: Kansasville, Wisconsin

Year Built: 2008

We renovated this old wooden barn over a decade ago and it still looks great.

The project started with an existing wooden barn that needed structural improvements and new steel siding. We also added a 60' x 48' x 18' machinery storage with an overhead hydraulic door. Lastly, we added a porch and some finishing touches to the interior to incorporate an office and bathroom into the final building design. The project also added lots of new windows to the existing barn for more natural lighting.

Restoring an old barn can be a tricky project! Make sure you are working with a company with licensed engineers to ensure the structural integrity of the existing building before investing in new siding.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
