Peck & Bushel Fruit Company

July 26, 2021 by

Location: 2020

Year Built: Colgate, Wisconsin

Peck & Bushel Fruit Company needed additional capacity for their apple orchard for processing and storage. They wanted a post frame barn that would match the existing barn on the property.

The end result was a 42' x 100' pole barn that makes a stunning addition to a beautiful orchard. Set back off the highway and nestled past winding road through the forest is the organic apple orchard of Peck & Bushel Fruit Company.

This project was unique for Walters Buildings as we utilized wood siding to match the existing building instead of our steel panels. With two overhead doors on the end wall and one on the side wall there is plenty of access during busy season to move apples and equipment in and out of the facility. The side windows under the eaves allow in natural lighting all year round.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
